There is a longer post I need to write about a major turn in my practice towards lens and print based media. But, briefly, around a year ago I reached a point at which I felt I needed to reconsider my practice. Working with digital media is not something I have abandoned. But projects were becoming increasingly complex and taking from 6 months to a year to move from conception to completion. As a result I began to turn towards photography as an ongoing way of developing ideas and make creative progress. I set up a darkroom studio and I began to log my work with a series of artists zines.
